
2020 Capital Works Project
New Gisborne Primary School has been allocated $3.1 million for a range of school improvement projects. These projects are due to start in July/August 2020 and are expected to be completed by the end of Term 1, 2021.
Planned works include:

School Oval Upgrade: preparation and installation of artificial surface on most of the oval and adjacent area

Landscaping along the Ferrier Road and Station Road boundaries

Provision of two Music Pods for instrumental music, choir and as additional meeting space for visiting professionals

Updating and modernising storm water drainage around the school

Improving water tightness of classrooms

Converting lights around the school to LED
-
Improving soundproofing to several classrooms.
